The Low Carbon Economy Leadership Fund Non-profits
As a non-profit; we know that you are in it to make a difference. We’re here to help with the costs of energy saving upgrades for your organization.
Get Up to One Million Dollars in Federal Funding 
You can get up to 25% back on eligible costs – up to a maximum of one million dollars for projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions through the Government of Canada’s Low Carbon Economy Leadership Fund. You can also get up to $100,000 for electricity-saving upgrades through NB Power.
What Kind of Projects Qualify?
Eligible projects could include:
Efficiency upgrades
Fuel switching
Energy Intensity Reduction
When Can I Receive Funding?
- The Low Carbon Economy Leadership Fund incentives are available until December 2023 (or until all funds have been awarded; whichever comes first).
- Funds are limited and they are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- All projects must be completed and submitted to NB Power with proof of payment by December 2023.
